Renters can request a refund directly through the rental page in the app. From the rental page, they can submit a request for either a partial refund or a full refund depending on the situation.

Can lenders issue refunds to renters?

No. Lenders cannot initiate a refund themselves. However, lenders can cancel the rental, which will automatically trigger a refund for the renter.

How do I cancel a rental?

Rentals can be cancelled directly from the rental page. When cancelling, you will be prompted to select a reason for the cancellation before confirming.

How long do rental refunds take to process?

Refunds for cancelled or refunded rentals are typically processed within 8 business days, but often much sooner. Processing times may vary depending on payment providers and bank processing times.

Where will refunded amounts appear for lenders?

Any refunded amounts will appear in your Lender Dashboard. If a refund is issued, the refunded amount may be deducted from your available balance.

What happens if a refund is processed after a rental is completed?

If a refund is processed after a rental has already been marked as complete, your lender account may show a negative balance. This amount will automatically be deducted from your next rental payout.
