You can cancel your rental request anytime before it’s accepted for a full payment release. If already accepted, you receive a full refund if canceled at least 72 hours before the start date, with refunds processed within 8 business days. No standard refund is given for cancellations within 72 hours, but partial refunds may be possible.

Can I cancel my rental request before it is accepted?

Yes. If the lender has not yet accepted your request, you can cancel at any time. Your payment authorization will be released immediately, though it may take a few days to reflect in your account depending on your bank.

How do I get a refund if my rental is already accepted?

You are eligible for a full refund if you cancel at least 72 hours before the rental start date.

What happens if I cancel less than 72 hours before the start date?

If you cancel within the 72-hour window, a standard refund is not issued. However, we recommend the following:

• Contact the Lender: Reach out directly to see if you can reschedule or reach a private agreement.

• Partial Refunds: If the item hasn’t been shipped, we advise lenders to refund the postage and cleaning fees, even if the rental fee is retained.
